A Summary of Areas Where Troop 33 Camps

Troop 33 is a camping Troop. We go on at least one weekend camping trip a month and at least one High Adventure plus long term camp a year. Below are the camps we have camped at in the last three years, with a short description, link and pictures.

BSA High Adventure Bases:      
  Florida Seabase
One of our favorites. Sail along the keys, scuba, shiprwrecks - what else makes it? See some of our pictures Here!

  Camp Sullivan

This camp is run by the Forest Preserve of Cook County just east of Palos Park, IL (147th and Oak Park Ave.)

Waterfall Glen

This is an outdoor eduction camp next to Argonne Labs.
Blackwell/Cantigny

This Forst Preserve has a youth camp site as well as a lake and canoe launch., and an orienteering course.
Herrick Lake

Camp Thunderbird (Greene Valley)

Thunderbird Youth camp was an old Scout camp and can camp up to 150 at seven sites.

Not really a place to camp, but we go here every year for a ski outing weekend. Great time!

Is a commercial cave in SW Wisconsin that caters to Youth Groups between October to April each year.
